Kharkiv Medical Academy of Post-graduate Education (KhMAPE) is a higher educational establishment of the IV-th level accreditation. 
        KhMAPE is one of the oldest educational institutions in Ukraine. 
    While the years of its history  more than  half a million specialists improved their qualification in the academy nd about 1,400 specialists for foreign countries.
Academy is located on 4,6 Ha and has 6 buildings of total area 14790 square meters with  3 training and laboratory premises and economic area.
In the  main training and laboratory building of total area 8,910 sq. meters there are 100 lecture rooms, Central Scientific Research Laboratory, library (with internet access), meeting-hall for 550 seats, 44 clinical laboratories and 42 diagnostic laboratories in medical institutions. On the balance of the academy are 2 hostels with 4 buildings (provision of students to hostels - 100%). 
The Academy has a license to provide educational services in the field of higher education: extension of profile (advanced training of doctors and pharmacists: pre-certification cycles, thematic improvement cycles, cycles internships, information cycles and internships), specialization; training of doctors and pharmacists in internship; 
preparation of doctors in clinical residency improvement of the qualification of the teachers of the higher medical educational institutions of the I-IV levels of accreditation on the specialty "Pedagogy of the Higher School" (direction - 1801 specific categories) with the licensed volume of educational services 500 persons. Academy also has Medical college which conducts training of foreign citizens on the base of the secondary education junior specialists (nurse), on the base of the secondary special education (junior specialist) bachelors (nurse).

Educational activities are carried out on 72 departments united in 5 faculties:

Of Public Health
